The genus Hydrangea comprises 70-80 species, some of which have economic importance as flowering plants. Japan has at least 71 hydrangea diseases and approximately one-third the world’s recorded diseases. A large number in are known primarily due to long history disease studies since 1892, pathogen diversity caused by Japan’s high humidity temperature ranges. Recently, new been found several high-value cultivars that grown potted plants greenhouses Japan.
